Infinity Tactics: Nomads

The Nomads do not have the tech of Pan-O, Aleph, or Combine. They do not have the brute strength of Yu-Jing or Aridna. But they have sneakiness in spades.

Using that approach to dirty tricks, I am building a 300 point all comer army. I want the army to be able to hit my enemy from several directions at once, be anchored by a solid core, and have at least 1 TO camo model to pop out and murder people. My first few turns will be slow, as I get my drop troops in and position my core, but as my models make it to the board and engage in favorable trades, my army will speed up, soon killing all in its path!

More Domination 'locks... Pt. I

So, I've been really digging the look of the new Warlocks for Domination. I've just about finished eHexeris, Naaresh is well on his way to being completed, and Maelok is looking pretty dang snazzy little by little. After seeing the model for Strum/Drang when our resident software wiz Paul pulled him out to play with him last week, I was giddy to paint him up. Paul, gracious enough to give me both his Warlock and scenic swamp base to paint, allowed me to abscond with him and *BLAM!* I got stuck into him yesterday.

Her are a few of the WIP shots:

24 hour Painter's Challenge: Christian vs Mark

So, before I left tonight, I talked Christian into a fun little challenge: paint one none-grunt model in a day. I've picked eHexy (cause the more I look at him the more I like the mini), and he picked a light Menoth 'jack called a Devout. Pics will be posted here when completed.

One day, two figures, the loser buys a pint.

Rhul Rules!

It's always funny to me how my interest ebbs and flows when it comes to both certain game systems and certain armies. I (for lack of a better term!) seem destined to always gravitate towards Dwarves across all game systems, factions, and companies. Those of you who know me or have played against me will undoubtably have encountered my Searforge Commission Rhul, and know that along with some VERY powerful units, they have some extreme handicaps as well.

Locked and Loaded

Just a quick word to our fans:

We are definitely going to be at Lock and Load. Right now we are planning on bringing 7 people up there, so almost our whole group (Lacy has work).

We will talk more next Saturday during our Winter Holiday Spactacularrrr.
